as a recurring judge in the Golden Spoon Awards 2016 Southern regional
semifinal, Ms. Hoa said, “Cuisine is a
robust aspect of Vietnamese culture, which turns out to be a useful piece of
apparatus in improving our country’s tourist potential. Thanks to the
competition, chefs from restaurants, hotels and resorts nationwide have a good
opportunity to network, learn new skills, improve their professional knowledge
and invent more delicious and healthy Vietnam styled dishes to introduce to
domestic and international food lovers. Meanwhile, the competition also helps
discover and train qualified, conscientious chefs to promote national
specialties to the world. I hope the Golden Spoon Awards becomes not only a
creditable national cooking competition, but also a signature culinary activity
of Viet Nam tourism, which has certain influences in mutually developing trends
of global cuisine”.
