Food Expert Long Thanh Chiem
Long Thanh Chiem, director of Binh Quoi Tourist Village, was also named
General Engineer of Vietnamese cuisine. With a reputation in culinary
expertise, he always dedicates his most concern to Vietnamese cuisine. As such,
he is considered as a man who has given his soul to Vietnamese cuisine through
many achievements such as collecting and designing folk dishes and for his
harmonization of cuisine and culture.
Food Expert Long Thanh Chiem is known among the
national wine seekers in Vietnam, and has built "The Vietnamese Wine
House" which contains over 30 renowned Vietnamese wines, curated for
introduction to international tourists.
Collecting, learning and promoting Vietnamese folk cuisine has long
become the passion of this man. His programs promoting Vietnamese cuisine have
aired in many countries, and have been especially successful in France where
they have attracted attention from TV channels and press. This is one of his
many successes on the road to introducing Vietnamese cuisine to international
friends.
He is a judge and a professional adviser of
the Golden Spoon contest from 2013 to 2015.
