The exchange program
“How to promote Vietnam cuisine abroad?” is part of the Golden Spoon Contest.
Its objective is to search traditional and rustic dishes displaying typical
cultural characteristic of each region of the country. This program also helps
to introduce and promote diverse, refined, delicious and nutrition Vietnamese
cuisine and raise it to international level.
Followed the exchange program, readers had the opportunity to ask questions
about the meanings and origins of Vietnamese cuisine. For example which dishes
will represent the different regions of Vietnam? What spices were discovered,
recommended and used effectively for the dishes? How do we present our
Vietnamese dishes to more of our international friends? Which Vietnamese dishes
have already been introduced in other countries?
