Visiting
Ho Chi Minh City, one can enjoy the dish at both luxury restaurants and common
stalls on streets or from vendors.
The
main ingredients for making the dish consist of thin rice paper, rice
vermicelli, pork, shrimp, herbs and rice vermicelli. The rice paper is made
from rice flour mixed with tapioca starch that helps the rice paper avoid breaking
when rolling. The dish can be served with sweet-sour sauce, dipping sauce or
chili sauce.

“meat light,” with the flavours of refreshing herbs erupting in your mouth.
Dipped in a slightly sweet sauce laced with ground peanuts, it’s wholesome,
